I, System was written to describe a present condition with precision and discipline. The Reader's Guide was written to help you do something with that description — in your classroom, your book club, your institution, and your life.
The guide does the educational work the book deliberately leaves to the reader.

HOW TO USE THIS GUIDE
This guide is organized in two parts.
Reader’s Guide — AgencyBeyond the Present Condition: A Conceptual Framework for All Readers — develops the book's central argument visually and philosophically, moving from the framework the book establishes to the questions it leaves open. It includes three original diagrams and guided discussion questions throughout.
The Guide is recommended for all readers. It is required reading for teachers, educators, and students, as it provides the conceptual foundation that the audience-specific supplements assume.
The Supplements offer audience-specific sections for book clubs, teachers and educators, students, parents, and professionals. Each supplement can be used independently. Readers who have completed the Reader’s Guide will find the supplements more productive.
The Diagram: Three layers. One argument. What AI is, how it produces output, and why responsibility remains human — and what happens when that framework meets its limit.
All guide materials are free to download, share, and use in educational and discussion contexts.
